Youth Ministry
"We want our kids to breathe in God and breathe out themselves. To put off the old self and put on Christ."

Mark Sowder, Youth Minister
Mission Statement
The mission of the Youth Ministry is to bring the youth in our congregation, their friends that they bring and those that we reach out to in our community into a deep, personal, close relationship with Jesus. The plan to accomplish this purpose is to have our youth:
- Learn about Jesus - Education
- Love others through Jesus - Fellowship
- Live for Jesus - Service
- Lead others to Jesus - Evangelism and Involvement
Children
Our philosophy at Penn Forest in regards to children is that every child is valued and encouraged to become mature in Christ. We provide lessons and activities that are developed with the special needs of children in mind. Our Wee Worship and Children's Church both provide an opportunity for the children to express to God thanksgiving, praise, and commitment to His will in a way they can relate.
Youth Groups
Penn Forest's youth groups are geared towards young people in grades 6-12. All the youth leaders recognize that the middle and high school years are full of questions, changes, new emotions, new responsibilities, new thoughts, new friends, and a lot of doubt. It is our desire to help guide young people into a loving, trusting, intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Our young people find encouragement through youth-led worship, Bible studies, and organized events.
